Tamarlane's Buchi Kuma UD

Buchi is the beloved pet and companion of Hilde Smith.  His wonderful temperament has allowed him to become a certified "Handi- Dog" for his handicapped owner.  Hilde has also succeeded in earning all of Buchi's obedience titles.  He earned his UD degree by winning three blue ribbons in the process.  This is quite an accomplishment with an Akita but shows that it can be done!   As if all of this was not enough, Buchi has been nominated for the 2002 American Kennel Club Award for Canine Excellence (ACE).  He has been awarded a certificate of honor by the AKC and the final  results will be announce in September 2002.   This is what dogs are all about:)
