"Victor" was one of Tamarlane's top winning Akitas. He completed his championship from the puppy class and won two group firsts before one year of age. He won an Award of Merit at the 1986 Akita National Specialty and Best of Breed at the 1987 Akita National. "Victor" was the number one Akita in the country in 1986 and was in the top three for three years in a row. He was leased to Mike Window and Marion Sargent in England for two years, where he became the first Akita champion and the first Akita to win Best in Show at a championship show. He was the top winning Akita in England. When he returned home to Tamarlane, he won another Award of Merit at the 1991 Akita National Specialty from the veterans class. "Victor" is a Register of Merit sire and his kids and grand kids are winning championships for Tamarlane today. His grand daughter, Ch. Tamarlane's Touch of Envy, was Best of Opposite Sex at the 1994 Akita National Specialty.
